Minimum Qualifications: Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty and staff. Masters degree in communication, rhetoric, speech, or communication studies OR Bachelors degree in one of the above AND Masters degree in education. Experience teaching communication studies and/or forensics courses at the college level. Particular expertise in teaching performance speech such as public speaking and debate. Recent experience coaching intercollegiate forensics (speech and debate.) Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Salary: $7,193.49 - $13,354.36 hr
Work Year: 10 months
