Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications Must possess a current State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Master Teacher Permit or higher. Must have 2 years of work experience with infants and toddlers in an instructional capacity in a childcare and development program, working at least three hours per day. Must have completed 3 units of Infant/Toddler Curriculum and Development course. Completion of specialized courses in Special Needs course and Working with Families of Diverse Background course. Must have a current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. Term and Renewal The Child Development Master Teacher Permit is issued for five years and is renewable for successive five-year periods upon completion of 105 hours of professional growth.
