Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: 1. Successful completion of two (2) years of college (60 semester units/90 quarter units); PLUS paid experience working with young children (preferably one year (2000 hours) work experience in child care; AND 2. College coursework must include twelve (12) Early Childhood Education (ECE) units (six units when hired and six units may be in process at the time of application); AND 3. Possess a Child Development Instructional Permit at the Teacher Level or higher or proof of having filed for a permit (Title 5 Regulation); AND 4. Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (weight of child) and walk and stand for at least two hours. Note: According to California State Community Child Care Law, a criminal clearance record is required prior to employment. According to SB277 a TB test/clearance and proof of DPT and MMR immunizations are required prior to employment.
Salary: $28.47/hr
