Minimum Qualifications: Verification of successful completion of the P.O.S.T Dispatcher Academy dated within two (2) years of application,ORVerification of successful completion of the P.O.S.T. Entry-level Dispatch Selection Test Battery examination (Education and Experience section). This certification may be obtained through the South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium. The certification of the examination must be dated within 12 months of the closing date of this job announcement. Lateral Applicants must submit documentation of one of the following:Possession of a valid State of California Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Dispatcher Basic Certificate;ORCurrently working as a public safety dispatcher, and can show proof of successful completion of the agency specific dispatcher training program.
Salary: $44,361.00 - $56,646.00 yr
Work Term: 12 months
