Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of experience and education that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:Equivalent to an Associates degree from an accredited college with major coursework in administration of justice or a related field;ANDOne year of responsible law enforcement experience.LICENSE & CERTIFICATE:Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California drivers license.Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Basic Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certificate, including firearms and other tactical equipment use.Possession of, or ability to obtain, valid American Red Cross C.P.R., First Aid, and AED certification.Must be a United States citizen, or permanent resident alien who has applied for citizenship.
Salary: $102,660 - $140,568 yr
