Minimum Qualifications: State Minimum Requirements: 1. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with community college students with disabilities, various sexual orientations, and diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds (Required). 2. Earned Master's Degree in Art History, History of Art and Architecture or Visual Culture/Visual Studies from an accredited institution; OR THE EQUIVALENT; OR Earned Bachelor's Degree in Art History AND Master's Degree in History; OR THE EQUIVALENT; OR Earned Master's in Art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in Art History; OR THE EQUIVALENT; OR Hold a fully-satisfied LIFE California Community College Instructor Credential in Art History (California credentials were no longer issued after July 1, 1990).
