Here are a few tips to keep in mind when applying for a position:
1.	Read the job description carefully and apply accordingly.  Most college districts want you to apply directly using their district application.  Applications are available through the Registry as a link in the job posting.
2.	Save a copy of your electronic confirmation for your records from the college district you applied to.
3.	If you follow-up with a phone call on the status of your application, be sure to have all job information on hand, i.e. the job title or number, or job confirmation number.
4.	Be patient.  It often takes several weeks past the deadline for district hiring committees to examine all the applications they have received.
