Minimum Qualifications: • Master’s in physical education, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education OR Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration, or physical therapy OR A current California Community College Credential that permits full-time service as an instructor in physical education, OR Education and experience that is at least the equivalent of items above • Basketball coaching experience • Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic and socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff • Possess or be able to obtain, and maintain a valid class B (with passenger endorsement) commercial driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record • CPR and First Aid certification (if not held, to be obtained within three months of hire)
Salary: $71,323 - $127,232 yr
Work Term: 10 mos
